Spiritual Growth – Dare to Forgive

One morning whilst out walking last week, as I was saying my daily affirmations of forgiveness, this beautiful little leaf popped into my vision, and I just had to take a photo! It really reminded me of how essential it is in our Spiritual Growth to forgive anyone and everything in this life who I have perceived as having hurt me.
At times, this is definitely not an easy thing to do, but one that brings the most amazing feelings of peace and happiness. Being able to forgive is actually giving a gift to yourself. And I know from experience that the love given through forgiveness comes back a million times over in the most unexpected and beautiful ways!

Spiritual Awakening – How to Build a Mystical Bridge
Today’s Note to Self™ ~Remember today, that even when the bridge to my dreams seems totally broken and destroyed … there is always a bigger, stronger mystical bridge that lies within my heart and mind that has the power to overcome any river of fear~
What has building bridges got to do with Spiritual Awakening?
As I locked the car, I pulled the phone from my pocket to check the time … don’t have a watch, as I feel it sometimes spoils the moment when you see the constant reminder of time!!! Anyway, for once in my life, I was running early, so had some time to wander beside the river as I made my way to my mentor’s office. Boy oh boy, did I have some questions for her today!!! And I was looking for some ANSWERS … yes, answers in capitals!!! LOL I was hoping that Spirit was prepared to help me with a number of issues that seemed to be constantly nagging me, and I was sure that my beautiful mentor was going to be able to shed some light upon what I needed to do.
What was at weekends, a very busy play area for children and their parents, was now such a lovely quiet space for me to be alone with my thoughts … and my stress! This was one of those points in my life when there seemed no way to move forward. I was looking for a bridge that didn’t seem to exist! And then, to top it all off, out of the corner of my eye, I saw this image! Without one word, it explained exactly how I was feeling, and how life was looking … broken and destroyed … or was it?
Message from nature Spirits:
A journey of discovery as a physical being means, without a doubt, that you will experience moments of feeling that all has been stripped from you, and that your dreams have been totally broken and destroyed. Nature Spirits would like to explain that this is a natural process that must be experienced for you to move from where you are, to where you desire to be. The old negative energies that you may have been carrying, must break down and disappear to allow the new energy of your desires to come into being. You cannot hold onto the old and expect the new to appear … there must be, as you would say, ‘a changing of the guard’.
This is not a time to fear! This is a time to rejoice, knowing that you are releasing the old worn out energies that are no longer serving you. Bless these moments with the goodness of the Universe, knowing that amazing things are happening! Mystical bridges are being built within your mind and your heart that will span the mightiest rivers of fear and allow you to cross over to the land of your dreams. You are sooo loved!

Spiritual Growth – Message from a little Blue Wren!
Today’s Note to Self™ ~Remember today, that my spirit soars on high when I connect to the magic in nature~
Spiritual growth can appear in the most amazing ways! Today’s image has been gratefully accepted from images that are freely shared by other amazing photographers.
The kookaburras sounded the alarm just after 5am this morning, and were followed closely by the magpies’ morning chorus of song. The light of dawn is slowly creeping back into the early hours of the morning, and beckons me to come and enjoy those magnificent moments when the whole of the nature wakes with the excitement of a brand new day. Finally, as the parrots continue to pester me from the beautiful old tree just outside the window, I get myself ready to join my feathered friends, and listen to their amazing songs.
For the very first time, in this neighbourhood, I was brought to a stop by tiny blue wrens … and my spirit soared! It was such a magical moment as these tiny little birds flitted around me and through the shrubbery near by. I stood spell bound watching and listening to any message they may have had for me. In fact, so spell bound that it didn’t even register that it might be a great idea to take a photo!! LOL Perhaps though, there are some moments in this life that just need to be enjoyed without having to capture images on cameras or phones, but simply captured in the heart.
Message from Nature Spirits:
When your Spirit soars, the whole of creation soars with you … across great cosmic oceans, over majestic, silent mountains, through mystical, mysterious forests, and on and on to even experience the twinkling of the stars. Nature Spirits are constantly arranging and rearranging exquisite moments for you to connect to, and allow your spirit to soar to great heights. But please don’t allow it to just become another pretty picture which you see and then push aside to make room for your worry and stress!
Everything in Nature holds within it a message … a lesson … and an emotion to be felt! The tiny blue wren is such a powerful symbol! It is a messenger from the Gods. It wants you to know that it is time for you to vision your wonderful dreams and desires … fearlessly! Face your future and step into it with confidence and with courage, and do not allow fear to impede your progress. Remember that you do not have to do this alone!!! You have beside you, if you so choose, Spirit who is constantly awaiting your acknowledgement and requests for help and assistance. So today, find time to walk in nature … that great classroom of your planet … and get ready for an amazing ride. It is here that you allow your spirit to soar! You are so loved!

Nature Spirits – What Does Your Mirror Reflect?
Today’s Note to Self™ ~Remember today, that my physical world is a mirror image of my most dominant thoughts and words~
Our Spiritual Growth happens much faster as we connect to the messages from Nature Spirits.
No matter the time or the season, there always seems to be beautiful leaves to find and to photograph … and each one brings its own message and metaphysical symbolism. So often I seem to come upon leaves streaked with the most sensational hues of the season, but these two little black leaves told a very different story. They called from my path in their own unique way; a call so loud and clear, and the most magical message flooded my eyes and my heart.
Instantly, the fairytale rhyme rang through my mind … ‘Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?’ But this time, the ending of this well known rhyme was somewhat different to the one I used to say a child. This time these new words flooded through my mind, ‘Mirror, mirror on the wall, tell me why I seem to fall. Why is my life sometimes filled with lack, what can I do to bring true prosperity back?’ Well, Nature Spirit always, always provides the perfect answer to every question that I have, and brought it to me loud and clear … and I am so very grateful!
Message from Nature Spirits:
Leaves symbolise so many things … letting go, embracing change, new life, golden thoughts, spectacular moments, seasons of life, abundance and a million more. Leaves happily sing their songs as they dance in the wind, float through the air on a gentle breeze, and sail on the waters of rivers that call from beneath the trees. We love using leaves to help you understand the metaphysical messages that need to be learned, held within your mind and heart, and then acted upon in your physical life. These messages can bring magical changes to all that you experience here on your planet Earth.
These two black leaves are reminding you, that your thoughts and words create your physical reality … your physical reality will become a mirror image of every thought you think and every word you speak! Their black colouring says loud and clear that if you are focused on the negative, then your life will be filled with negative experiences … life will seem dark and dreary, and filled with the blackness of unhappiness and fear! Today, we suggest that you take a look in your mirror and discover YOUR Truth. Are you seeing the most beautiful hues of every colour that reflect joy and happiness, or do you see a dark, bleak image of lack and limitation? Remember, it is never too late to change the reality of your world … with positive thoughts and words things will change in amazing ways, and in no time at all, you can be living your dreams and desires. Spiritual Awakening – Are You Missing Miracles?
Today’s Note to Self™ ~Remember today, that taking time each day to live ‘in the moment’, allows me to experience the most mystical images that feed all my senses with a little taste of heaven~
Through the wet muddy grass and into Spiritual Growth.
I sometimes wonder just how Mother Nature creates such beautiful images in the most unexpected ways and the most unexpected places. I happened to be scrambling through bushland, with my shoes covered in mud (the most fabulous old worn out shoes that have taken me places well and truly above and beyond the call of duty! LOL) and my socks feeling extremely wet, when I came across this mystical image. The sun was stretching its magic wand through the thick foliage of the trees, and touching grasses and leaves with its beautiful rich, golden light.
I would have to say, as my eyes became glued to this beautiful sight, I felt all my little concerns melt away; I forgot the wet feet and the muddy shoes, and literally felt the most fabulous energy of joy surge through my body!!! I fumbled in my bag, found the i-phone, and then took the photo … looked down to put the phone away … looked up, and the golden light was gone. How blessed I was to have witnessed and felt such a magical moment!
Message from Nature Spirit:
Every single moment is a moment of magic in nature. There is always the opportunity for you to not only capture these moments, but to also grow spiritually through these experiences. As each element in nature joyfully plays and dances its dance of life, it connects with all the other elements around it, and the vibrations of joy and happiness that they exude, form miracles that you can then experience through all your physical senses … and your heart.
The sun symbolises life, power, strength and energy, and this is exactly what you can see within this image … those beautiful golden rays stretching towards you wanting to fill your life with an abundance of goodness. But, without taking the time to be truly aware of the sun and the exciting gifts it pours out upon Mother Earth, you will miss the magical moments that can bring you so much joy. It is all about living in the moment, and not living in the, “what am I going to do about this, or what am I going to do about that” negative thoughts, stresses and worries!!!
There is a sun inside you just waiting to rise above the horizons of your challenges and struggles, and light the path to your dreams and desires. Today, take the time to stretch inwards to find your sun, and taste the taste of heaven … it is there just waiting to create magical moments in your life. You are sooo loved.

Spiritual Awakening – A Web of Diamonds
Today’s Note to Self ~Remember today, the web that we weave as we journey through life is studded with the most beautiful diamonds … diamonds formed from challenges, tears, courage and perseverance ~
Spiritual Growth builds webs covered with diamonds.
It was -3 degrees outside at 6.30am this morning, and I must admit that it was very tempting to stay snuggled up under the doona and not brave the very frosty morning! But I knew the magic that awaited me as the sun crept up over the horizon and began to melt the silvery, glittering icing that coated everything. Mother Nature would look her most mystical best … and I was not going to miss one tiny moment of this breathtaking sight. So, on with the 4 layers of clothing to keep warm, a quick drink of wheatgrass, and I was ready to go.
As I stepped outside, the light of a magnificent dawn was slowly creeping over the horizon as if not wanting to disturb that unearthly silence, that is heard and felt, just before Mother Nature calls all the elements to greet the day with their beautiful songs of joy. I quietly made my way along the path without even saying my usual morning gratitude prayer … just experiencing the moment seemed prayer enough … I was walking through the cathedral of the Universe. Gradually the sun rose into the clearest blue sky above, and the frost began to melt. Tiny water droplets plummeted from the trees above, mist rose from the earth and floated into the atmosphere, and every blade of grass turned from silver to green.
It was then that I noticed this magical web strung between the wires, and the diamonds that shone so magnificently in the morning light … and gave enormous gratitude for its message.
Message from Nature Spirit:
The spider’s web holds great symbolism for anyone traveling a journey on the physical plane of life. Its glorious web is constructed with skill, patience and care. Every strand is woven from the silken thread which comes from within the spider itself; every strand is constructed with purpose and passion; every strand goes towards expressing the wonder and beauty of an unfolding story of creation. Then there are those times when Mother Nature breathes a little extra magic into these wonderful creations, touching them with dewdrops that shine like diamonds in the morning sun.
You too are constructing your beautiful web of life … a web that will often be broken and torn by struggles and challenges, destroyed by the strong winds of doubt and fear, pulled apart by those who love to put down dreams, and washed away by the tears of so called failure. But, just as with the spider, with courage and strength, and growth from within, you too can choose to rebuild your web … a web that is covered with diamonds. Remember, diamonds are created under pressure, over time, and with a great deal of perseverance from the Earth. We would like you to understand that the whole of creation is singing for joy at the beauty of the web you are weaving. You are so loved!
Spiritual Awakening – Stretching Deep into Mud?
Today’s Note to Self ~Remember today, that sometimes it takes stretching deeply into the muddy waters of life to find the nutrients which will help to sustain me throughout the journey~
Spiritual Understanding can even be found in a muddy waterhole!
This morning, I saw the most beautiful white dog racing across the park and then disappearing into the bushland beside the creek. The eagerness with which it galloped towards this particular spot made me think that maybe it knew something that I didn’t! So, off I strode in the same direction! It was a waterhole that had been formed by flood waters, and on one side stood this beautiful gum tree with its roots washed bare for all to see. But instead of turning up their toes, these roots were still stretching down deep into the water, and I am sure, way beyond what my eyes could see.
It made me think of the times that I have come upon those muddy waterholes (you know, those challenging times) of life and did all that I could to step around them, or over them, rather than actually stepping into and through them. All those times of trying to avoid what I really needed to experience to grow and become. And what happened? Well, it just meant that I met those same muddy waterholes again and again until I was brave enough to face them head on and dive in!!! Once I found the courage to jump, it was truly amazing how the muddy waters cleared and gave way to the most magical, sparkling pathways of understanding … new ideas, new dreams, and new prosperity filled my life.
I think this is a very clever tree … it is growing tall and strong as it drinks from the knowledge and wisdom of life.
Message from Nature Spirit:
We in Nature Spirit love muddy waterholes … they actually make it so much easier for us to gather the nourishment needed for us to grow strong and create such beautiful sights for your physical eyes to gaze upon. You see, it is not necessary for us to work our way into the soil seeking out the food that keeps us healthy and sparkling. The muddy waters carry with them all the wonderful gifts that they have gathered in the journey from upstream to where we sit happily waiting to enjoy such bountiful goodness. It is then that we stretch deep into those muddy waters and reap the benefits of such a wonderful banquet.
Yes, in your physical journey, you will certainly encounter muddy waterholes, and it is our suggestion that you embrace them fully and completely. If you can wade in, and just drag one foot after the other, you will be amazed at how clean those boots will be as you step out on the bank on the other side… how your heart will sing, and your eyes will sparkle with new life.
We will be with you all the way giving encouragement and cheering you on; the trees will breathe into you such magical breath, the birds will sing the sweetest songs that will help to lift those feet a little higher, and the sun will shine a mystical energy deep into every cell of your tired body that will assist you to take just one more step. We know you can do it … you are so loved.

Spiritual Awakening – Bigger and Better!
Today’s Note to Self ~Remember today, that if my dream is a long time coming … it just means that it is taking me a little longer to grow into a dream which is even bigger than ever I had imagined it could be~
We were up before the dawn making the last minute preparations before heading to Echuca for the day to visit our two beautiful daughters, their husbands, and our 6 amazing grandchildren! And I would have to say, that we have the bestest children and grandchildren in the whole wide world!!! LOL Okay, I guess I am just a little prejudiced!
It was such a cold frosty morning with the temperature not much above zero, and so we were both very grateful for the heating in the car as we drove northward. I am sure Bill was thinking that it would have been nice to stay in bed a little longer, but he knew how much I loved to watch the sunrise over the mountain range that we must travel across to reach our destination. We could now see that the fog was still hanging low in the paddocks like a giant ocean of cloud, as the first hint of light escaped the horizon.
And then came that moment I had been excited about for days! As we came up over the crest of a hill, there before us lay the most spectacular vision; we both gasped at the extraordinary sight before our eyes. It could not have been a more beautiful vision on which to feast! Bill pulled over to the side of the road and we both got out of the car to breathe in the magical moment. It was also in that instant, that the story of my spiritual journey flashed before my eyes. The times that I felt so deep in the valley surrounded by fog! The times when I would catch just a glimpse of the light of Truth as I struggled up the mountain called life. The times when dark grey clouds seemed to hang incessantly between me and the light of my dreams! And then came that most magical moment when I felt in the depths of my soul, the most spectacular sunrise of understanding, and the most joyous elation at having had the courage to travel the journey… this far!
Message from Nature Spirit:
We have to admit, that sometimes it takes us time to find that extra special paper, and those extra, extra special ribbons and bows in which to wrap your dreams. You see, the Universe always wants to make the end result so much bigger and better than you could have ever imagined it to be. Why? Because, as we keep telling you, you are so loved!
It is also extremely important for you to have grown into your dream … on the inside. You see, if you have not grown sufficient wisdom, knowledge and understanding, then it is very likely that your dream will slip through your very physical fingers. Now that would just make you sad, or angry, or resentful, and put you right back to square one again … you know, down in that valley surrounded by fog! We want to see you resting on that magnificent mountaintop, lit by the light of the most glorious sunrise, and with your dream firmly in your hands. So today, be patient with yourself and with the arrival of your dream. Believe us, from where we are sitting, it looks sensational!!! You are so loved.
Spiritual Awakening – Out on a Limb
Today’s Note to Self ~Remember today, that reaching into the flow of life and stretching towards my dream, may take stepping out on a limb and knowing that, whatever I desire is also reaching out towards me~
Spiritual growth occurs when we are prepared to step out on a limb.
I just love being drawn to new, secret tracks that lead down to the creek, and finding the most amazing images to capture on my phone … and then listening for the little messages that follow! The creek is forever changing and creating new visions for eyes which are longing to see co-creation in action. This image really jumped out at me! A huge lump of soil had fallen from the embankment of the creek and had eased itself out into the water as if searching and stretching for that illusive stream from which all things flow.
I stood wondering if it felt as I do sometimes … stepping out on a limb in the middle of nowhere, just hoping and trusting that the answers will come. Believe me, that stretching towards my dreams can be quite scary until I, once again, take the time to remember the truth of who I am, and know without a doubt that whatever I desire is there for me, and seeking me as I seek it. What a comforting thought it is to understand that my desire is also whizzing its way along its limb in search of me! WooHoo!
Message from Nature Spirit:
Yes, it is so true! Every dream or desire that you have, also dreams of and desires you. This is something that you need to contemplate and meditate upon frequently. By truly understanding this concept, you will never be afraid of reaching out beyond what you would consider your normal capabilities, and stretch that little bit further into that magical stream of life. This magical stream is a never ending, forever growing stream of abundant prosperity for those who wish to partake of its magnificence.
Everything in Nature is constantly, as you would say in your physical terms, ‘going out on a limb’. Everything is constantly stretching and growing upwards towards the light. Everything is a constant state of change, expansion and growth. All in Nature knows without a doubt that whatever it is seeking to enable this process of co-creation to occur, is also seeking it, and as it happily bounces forth, it attracts all it needs to change, expand and grow.
But how much more exciting is it for you in a physical body! You have the choice to step out on any number of limbs and create such amazing possibilities for yourself … far more than any one thing in nature. So know with all your heart that whatever you are seeking is also seeking you, and anything that you can dream, is possible! May we suggest that you find your limb to step out on today, and jump with all your might into that magical stream of life that knows all, and wants for you to have it all. You are sooo loved!

Spiritual Awakening – Your Turn to Shine
Today’s Note to Self ~Remember today, that the talents I keep hidden from view, eventually disintegrate and disappear … but the talents I share with the world return to me rich rewards~
Spiritual Growth is often found in the most unexpected places!
Grass is so forgiving! I mean, how many times do we water it and watch it grow, and then take out the lawn mower and cut it back to the ground, only to return the next day to see it standing straight and tall and smiling at the sun? I often ask myself if I have the same tolerance and perseverance as I journey through life. But I guess that is a question for another note!
I love it when the grass grows long and thick, and I get to wade through the lush green blades and feel their coolness against my legs and under my feet … not so great just after heavy rain!!! LOL I love to lie down on this blanket of green, and feel it snuggle around me as if to cradle me in its softness. I also love the possibilities of finding amazing little surprises that lie hidden from view of those people who always stay on the well weathered path.
The surprise for this particular day was this beautiful leaf that had wound up caught between some very tall blades. Although it was now in the autumn of its life, it still shone with a beauty that needed to be shared with all who walked by. It had a wonderful story to tell … and a message I certainly needed to hear.
Message from Nature Spirit:
You all arrive on this planet earth with your very own uniqueness, your very own talents, and your very own amazing story to tell. So often though, as a physical being, you allow others to pull you down, and then you begin to believe that you are not ‘good enough’, or ‘nothing special’, and you begin to slowly shrink into a shell of nothingness. You shrivel up and die as a leaf melting back into the soil.
This is NOT the Truth of who you really are!!! You are a magnificent being who chose to assist planet earth to grow and become the beautiful, ongoing creation that is constantly desired, and pondered upon daily, by the Source of all that is and will ever be. If you choose to hide your unique talents, they will eventually be taken from you and they will disappear back into the mists of mere possibility. But, if you choose to take out your talents and share them with the world, you will discover the magical richness of living a purpose-filled life. You will fly to beyond your wildest dreams, slide down rainbows, and land feet first in your pot of gold. Today, allow yourself to shine! You are so loved.
