Today’s Note to Self ~Remember today, to just hold onto my dream with all my might, knowing that everything is happening in the realms far beyond what my eyes can see~

Sometimes it is just sooo hard to wait for dreams to appear! You have read all the books, you have listened to a million people tell you it is just a matter of Divine timing, you know in your heart how this Universe works … but you really want to see it now! Well, I have had a week of wanting it now, and no matter how hard I have tried to connect to the Truth of things … I was still left wanting!!! “The Universe is just not listening, and nothing seems to be happening”, were my catch cries. Then came the little pangs of guilt … “Geraldine, you know better than to keep saying these things to yourself.”  Round and round I went in a never ending cycle, or so it seemed.

Then, last Thursday, I was walking, or more like running, through the one of the many magnificent gardens that are dotted around the city of Melbourne, on my way to meet a friend whom I hadn’t seen in such a long time. As it happened, I was running a little late, and had to take a short cut across the lawns. To my surprise, I stumbled upon the most magical little place hidden amongst trees and shrubs. I just HAD to stop and allow myself the time to soak in the magic. My eyes were immediately drawn to the reeds growing in the middle of the most beautiful water lily pond… the reeds that had begun their life as tiny bulbs in a pot at the bottom of the pond, and now they were able to be seen by all who passed by. Their message came in loud and clear!!! I’m not sure how long I stood there, but suddenly, I was brought back to reality when my phone rang, and it was my friend just checking to see if maybe I was lost! LOL

You may be pleased to know that many of you in physical bodies have trouble understanding the concept of Divine timing. There are so many factors to be taken into consideration! You need to understand that there are so many different things that need to be brought into alignment for your dream to manifest in the most perfect way possible… people, events, happenings, phone calls, chance meetings, hand shakes, casual conversations, ideas, opportunities, and a million more wonderful, magical steps timed to perfection. All this takes place in the spiritual realm, and you have no idea how close you are to seeing your dream become a reality … if you could only hold onto your faith and trust, and not begin to doubt!

Quite often, you are just seconds away from the popping of the champagne, the balloons rising into the air, the choirs singing, the bands playing and the crowds cheering in celebration of your dream coming true … and then, you push it away again! You say those few little words, “It’s just not happening”, and guess what? The Universe instantly answers your request … and it doesn’t happen!!!  Your ‘inside growth’ is so important in the manifestation of your desires. This means holding onto your faith and trust in Universal Law, regardless of what you can or cannot see happening around you! So, allow for Divine timing, and you will see miracles occur … you are so loved.
