Today’s Note to Self ~Remember today, that when I let go of my old perceptions of not being ‘good enough’ … I will fly with lightning speed and grace into the light of my dreams~

Spiritual growth through observing the flight of the dragonfly? Yesterday morning, after dropping Bill at work, I decided to visit Ruffey Lake Park rather than walk along my beautiful Diamond Creek. When I arrived, I set the intention of capturing a picture… and a movie, of a dragonfly in flight. So off I set towards the lake knowing and trusting that there would be a dragonfly awaiting my arrival… and it was! WooHoo!!! I just love to watch dragonflies as they zip with such speed from one place to another, and see their paper thin wings glisten with such magical colours when captured by the sun’s rays. I often secretly wish I could, for a few moments, climb aboard that tiny body and take a ride across the waters and into the mystical world of this amazing little insect. (Have a feeling I would be paying for lots of extra baggage!!! LOL) Having discussed with this little dragonfly what I was trying to achieve, it kindly, and patiently, flew back and forth as I captured a picture and a movie… and then I listened intently to its message.

Message from Nature Spirit:

Ask yourself this question, and then answer truthfully … Do I see myself as the unique magnificent spiritual being that I am, or do I see myself as not being able to accomplish my secret desires because I don’t consider myself good enough or worthy enough? This is a huge problem with so many souls living here on planet earth! Instead of accepting and trusting your Truth, you go about constantly putting yourself down, and with each negative thought and doubt regarding your ability to achieve, your self esteem drops lower and lower as you attract more and more of the same.

Well, it is time you let go of these old worn out perceptions and beliefs. You are a tiny drop of Source energy who has come to this planet with a uniqueness that not one other living soul can claim! How amazing is that? It is your personality, your physical body, your smile, your hug, your gift and your vibration that can change this planet into a more wonderful place to live and to create miracles each and every moment. Today is the day to throw out all the old perceptions of yourself and fly with enormous speed into the light of your dreams. You have been created for greatness! You have gossamer wings, so please let them fly and shine!

Spiritual growth comes in unique and wonderful ways! As I stepped out this morning, I asked Spirit to find for me a picture which represented ‘focus on the inner rather than the outer’… which happens to be my focus for today. Well, I certainly didn’t expect to be taking a photo such as this!!! LOL I was looking for these amazing shots to inspire myself and others, and there it was right in front of me on the pathway. I just love the way the messages come in such simple forms … but with such amazingly powerful messages.

What is happening in your life is always a reflection of what you are feeling on the inside; your thoughts and, more importantly, your emotions, are the creators of your reality. It is these thoughts and emotions that vibrate out to the world around you and draw back to you more of the same. The trick is to become consciously aware of what you are thinking in any given moment. When negative thoughts or feelings arise, ask yourself where they may be coming from, then simply let them go and bring your focus back to something that makes you smile. In this way, you will instantly change what you are attracting to you from negative to positive … and you know that you deserve all the wonderful things that this Universe is just wanting to deliver right to your door!
